The Forget-Me-Not Chorus: Using the Power of Song
The founder of this charity, Kate Woolveridge (in the photo above) is a professional opera singer and was a friend of Kate Farrer’s. The KFF therefore felt this was a relevant charity to support, as Kate Farrer herself loved singing, a trait inherited from her mother Annette, who sang in many church choirs!
Kate Woolveridge was awarded ITV Woman of the Year 2012 for her initiative, and you can find out more about the charity’s aims, programmes and events, plus watch ITV interviews and documentaries here.
In 2015, the KFF pledged a donation to help the Forget-Me-Not Chorus establish a second choir in Newport. We will update you with photographs soon; in the meantime, find out when the two choirs are next performing.
